Alright, this is the moment we and I have been waiting for.

Myara 1: HoAO is scheduled to be released on the 23th of November 2022, in 4 days! BUT. Be aware that this date, if most likely final, can change at the last moments due to some reasons not under my control.

So, what happened since the last devlog? Well, I just finished the game WAY faster than anticipated. I managed to put more work in 3 days than in the last two months. I fixed a lot of bugs, removed replays (yeah I couldn’t handle it anymore sorry), finished little details, did playtesting with friends and by myself. I noticed a huge bug that could allow for the two playable characters to skip boss using their shields on the boss’ hitbox (it’s possible in the demo you can try it, I will not fix it in this demo cuz I find it funny).

Currently, the game is 99.99% finished, I only need to fix some things I found during playtesting of the entire game start to finish yesterday (those are purely visual stuff on the stage 3 and 5 that hinders the gameplay).

The date of 23th of November is currently what I’m aiming for, I’m confident in the state of the game to release it to the public how it is. The only thing that could reschedule the release date would be a game-breaking bug (haven’t found any yet so I don’t think there is any).

So, what next? After the game’s release, I will be listening to bug reports you guys may find during your playthroughs and fix them as soon as I can. I will do so for two days after the game release. Then, I will take some days off development and not fixing any bugs during this time. (I need time to breath a little). Then, after this pause, I’ll get back on fixing those pesky bugs (again, if you find any, there is still a chance lol) for a month or two, maybe adding back some features like replays (I’ll try, I don’t know if I’ll succeed).

And then, I’ll get to work on the planning phase of the second Myara game.
