Hello! I'm Rül Hölos (or Runa if you want to call me by my name), a 21y/o game developer working mainly in luaSTG. I'm working with plug-c for most of the music of my games.
I'm currently working on making my second game: Myara 1.5 ~ Rush for the Shadow Egg, supposed to release between April and June.
For art, I'm using mainly Medibang Paint Pro for drawing characters and assets, and gimp for effects, fonts, ...
For the engine, I'm using both LuaSTGExPlus and LuaSTGSub.
For the sound-effects, sfxr.
I'm creating games for my own made-up universe: Myara.
It's similar to Touhou and Len'en in multiple aspects, but a lot of original stuff too. The main story-line of Myara is the one started in Myara 1 and will be continued in Myara 2 ~ Cycle of Hakurama and the next games. The story started in Myara 1.5 is a second story-line, more on the side and following other characters, every game with a decimal number will be a side-game following other least important stories than what's happening with the Hurricane Hanase and Miko learned about in Myara 1.
In Myara, there is a lot of things, most importantly the main characters, there are 5 main characters: Hanase Koma, Miko Shiko, and 3 of which will appear in Myara 2 ~ Cycle of Hakurama. Secondary characters are Motae Aeralis, Duali Terumi, Mazeru Hitogara and Helena Nyarla no Akasha. All those characters will appear often in every game.
For the story-line of these games, every story-line is considered equally canon, regardless of the character you play as, unless specified in the game's readme.txt or the itch page. If things contradict in what's happening in each character's story, it's planned and not a mistake.
